Larry from Black Mtn Plumbing changed out a water main valve located in my garage. I knew he was in for challenge because there was hardly any copper pipe left to install a replacement valve. He made a few adjustments by re-configuring the direction of the copper pipe and he was able to install the replacement valve with ease. I was very pleased with Larry's work. He was efficient and took the necessary time to do the job right and that what counts. In addition's to Larry's quality work, he has very good customer service, friendly and honest. If anyone needs plumbing work, I highly recommend Black Mountain Plumbing. They're accommodating and have demonstrated quality work each time they've done work for me. Their price points are one of the best in San Diego. ~ Rito S

Scott came out for a quote on installing a new gas line. Once I have determined that I don't have lead paint on my or asbestos in my dry wall and I will hire him to come install my gas line. He was my third quote and by far the most reasonable. I am confident that I will be happy with the results when all is said and done. UPDATE: The work they did was great. They came in set up, did the work, cleaned up and adjusted my bill on the spot to include removing my old appliance. They were friendly and answered all my questions with confidence and never seemed bothered by me checking in throughout the time they were here to see the progress. I will be using this company for any future plumbing issues in the future. I would recommend this company to anyone who asks. ~ Amber S

I was recommended Black Mountain Plumbing by one of their long time customers. I initially thought my faucets were broken, but Daniel walked me through all of my sinks/toilets/water lines and he taught me what might have caused the issue I was seeing and we itemized what needed to be fixed and what would need to be addressed later. Daniel was super helpful in teaching me about the aging-out fixtures, what to look for and all that, which I really appreciate. I would do business with them again! [edit 11/27/22] - Came home to a nightmare - a leak in the wall. BMP came out for an emergency visit and Dayne quickly identified the cause and fixed the leak. I called Black Mountain Plumbing a few months ago sobbing because I had a pipe burst and I couldn’t figure out how to shut off my water. As a new single mom, this made an overwhelming day way worse. The owner of the company was the one who took my call and he walked me through shutting off my water on FaceTime and then he didn’t charge me a dime. So today, when I needed a plumbing repair done, Black Mountain Plumbing was the obvious choice. Daniel came out to help me out and just like the company’s owner, he was kind, punctual, professional, and respectful and he went above and beyond to fix my plumbing issue; the cost for the project was totally reasonable. I highly recommend Black Mountain Plumbing, as they are honest and very knowledgeable and skilled. The sink in our spare bathroom had a leak and we called Black Mountain Plumbing to come out and assess and fix the situation. I was at work and my parents were in town staying at our house and were the ones one dealt primarily with the plumber who came out. He was super nice and friendly to them, quickly figured out what the problem was, and gave advice on how to proceed with fixing it. It was actually a really cheap fix that he could have tried to upsell us on, but didn't. My parents went on and on about how nice he was. I had an emergency water leak just when I was having my carpets cleaned! I couldn't turn off the water to the house because it was needed for my carpets. The leak was so heavy that I had to empty a large bucket hourly. I called Black Mountain Plumbing and they dispatched Solomon within 2 hours. When Solomon arrived, the carpets were still being cleaned and I explained that to do his repairs he would have to navigate through all the hoses and wet carpet while wearing booties!!!! Solomon was extremely personable, accommodating and gracious, especially in view of the complicated situation. He completed the necessary repairs very professionally and efficiently plus he checked my home water pressure and offered some welcome advice free of charge. We had a main line blockage which resulted in all water connections pouring out of our back yard clean out pipe. Basically we fertilizing our yard instead of the sewer. Based on a recomendation we called Black Mountain Plumbing for assistance. From the person answering the call to the technician who was assigned / responded to our call; was nothing but pure professional; polite; responsible; friendly; conduct. They answered our questions regarding the problem; the solution; why they were doing what they were doing. I was truly impressed from beginning to end with their response / assistance. Very glad that our neighbors recommended Black Mountain Plumbing. We had an outdoor leak under our patio. Black Mountain recommended CPL (also highly recommend them) to locate the leak, which they did the next day. Black Mountain came out the following day to assess and give us a quote and showed up the next morning to dig and fix the leak. They took plenty of photos and explained everything to us in detail. They also took note of some other things outside the house and made some great recommendations for DIY improvements and things to watch out for. Highly recommend Black Mountain for any of your plumbing issues. Our leak is now fixed and everything is working great. Joel Jr., Nathaniel, and Scott (the owner) were awesome. After doing some research for a good plumber I decided to choose BMP…glad I did. They installed a new toilet in one of my bathrooms, it went smooth and was completed a little sooner than anticipated. The toilet looks and works great, I am satisfied with the work BMP has done for me. The bonus is the cleanliness, not just after the job but even during the installation. The plumber kept all his tools and equipment together and in order, and didn’t make a big mess all over the place like some plumbers do. I am very pleased with the work Black Mountain Plumbing has provided, so much so that I will call them again soon to install another new toilet in my other bathroom. Thanks guys! Called Black Mountain Plumbing to request John to come to our home in Del Sur and install 2 rain showers. They were able to send John out the next day and he problem solved our situation and quickly installed the hardware necessary. This company is our "plumbers of choice" as over the years we have consistently received excellent service, above & beyond our expectations. We appreciate their integrity and fairness in doing the job correctly - the first time, and not taking short cuts. Appreciate having them to help us with our home and rental property. Also a few weeks ago had John back to replace our Tankless water heater system. This time he brought Dylan to assist. Solomon was an absolute gift.The minute I opened the door I knew that we were in good hands.He took time to explain everything and he was kind and patient with our questions. The previous owner had created a water heater weird set up . We have been having major water issues to have hot water. For months We are so happy we now in about 3 minutes have wonderful hot water IWe could not be more pleased. Again,Solomon sent me a message as to where he saw a problem at my main water pipes.and what he recommended needed to be done. I checked with my Builder son-in-law as to if this was indeed necessary. He stated that this could bring about a major problem if it was not addressed. Today Solomon fixed this problem. We called Black Mountain after spending two weeks without a stove after a gas leak because the initial plumbing company we were referred to had still yet to send someone to do the work we needed despite confirming scheduling on three separate occasions. Black Mountain Plumbing was a breath of fresh air with their exceptional customer service and expertise. It definitely wasn't cheap, but it was well worth the price for the quality of workmanship knowing the job was done right. They moved a gas line, installed a new range and the water line to the fridge with copper piping. I was very impressed with Robert Snyder with Black Mountain Plumbing. I have been trying to get my Grohe shower fixed for a year had my plumber who installed it to fix the problem could not get real hot water. A lot of plumbers install showers but can't repair him. I also live in a high-rise condo in Coronado part time so scheduling is a problem. I called black mountain plumbing talk to Robert took a picture of the fixture an he ordered the part set up an appointment. Black mountain plumbing sent me a email of schedule appointment and what they were going to do . I totally forgot to call him before I came out to Coronado to verify if they were still on for the appointment anyway Monday morning 730 he showed up at 7:29 fix the problem in less than an hour. Thank you Daniel and BMP! This was Daniel's 2nd visit to our home and we were not disappointed. Seems the New Year brings us plumbing issues :( and we appreciate having BMP nearby and ready to serve! Daniel was very professional, competent and came well-prepared with all equipment necessary address our leaky garbage disposal. He explained the options, the first being a simpler (and cheaper) fix, that if it didn't solve the issue, the cost would apply to the larger job. Win, win! He was done within an hour and was nice enough to check our water pressure and provided resources for us to maintain water pressure oversight. Overall, great service! Black Mountain Plumbing is a very professional plumbing company. About 30 minutes after I called them, the plumber, Mr. Daniel K, came to my home. He very professionally replaced a broken wax ring on my toilet. It was a little difficult to work on because the toilet is a low profile one. He also checked the flange under the toilet. He suggested that I replace this 37 year old toilet the next time it breaks, and I believe he is right. His work was very professional and very clean, and he also cleaned the floor around area before leaving. I read great reviews and heard great things about Black Mt. plumbing. So I decide to give them a try. I was impressed from the moment I called. The lady on the other side was kind and professional. I received a text message saying who was assigned to the job and time frame of when he would be there. I then received a phone call when he was on his way. Followed by a text to confirm. Dayne was the plumbers name. He was very professional and wore a COVID mask and kept his distance. I had a copper pipe that had been leaking in my garage for a couple days. Dayne and his partner cut out the old pipe and put in a new one, the work was clean and very professional. I highly recommend this company! ~ Thomas A

What a great Service Pro. Daniel is. He got out to my house asked me questions about what was going on with my plumbing. He checked out the front drain outside and said after I told him that the toilet in my front bathroom was leaking he said it was the wax seal that wasn't sealing properly. He had to snake out the line after he took off the toilet. He found roots in the line but kept sending the cable through and eventually got it cleaned out. He gave me an estimate for sending a camera down the line to see how extensive the root system is in the inside pipes. Daniel was very polite and answered my questions and told me exactly what he was doing. Really great service from Daniel. ~ SuperDilee

Black Mountain staff in the office were efficient and effective. They connected me immediately with the technician on call and he answered all my questions about my watermain leak. A call back the next morning was all that was needed to schedule my appointment the next morning at 0730( what a surprise response!). Travis arrived on time and began assessment immediately with a diagnosis and estimate of the work. He worked diligently and hard to get through the "MUCK" that was around, through, and under my watermain boxes to unearth the problem. Travis certainly went above and beyond to get this job done! Start to finish Black Mountain Plumbing did an excellent job. We needed some plumbing moved for a bathroom remodel. They were able to set up an estimate quickly and knew exactly what the job would entail during the estimate. During the job they worked with us to make sure things were installed to conform with our design. After everything was done we discovered an issue we all missed during the final inspection that would cause an issue down the line and they came back the next day to do a quick fix. We have used Black Mountain for several years. They are very professional in terms of scheduling, consistency, quality and sending out plumbers who know the work involved. Solomon is our go-to plumber for anything involved with tankless hot water heater issues. He’s excellent at troubleshooting, flexible, and knows when to suggest that an old water heater isn’t worth fixing. We have purchased tankless water heaters on Amazon and had Solomon do the installation. No one at Black Mountain ever pushes us to buy something we don’t need just to increase their profit margin. They are reasonable in pricing and unlike most plumbers, we never feel taken advantage of. ~ Hardy G

Travis has been taking care of our plumbing needs for a year and a half. We are very happy we found Black Mountain Plumbing and Travis from Angie's list. Travis just came out to take care of some tree roots that broke through our pipe in the front yard causing the water in our house to back up into the showers and tubs. He was here quickly and took care of the problem with the machine efficiently. He is always professional. He also checked our water pressure to make sure it was in a safe range for us (this is a problem he fixed for us about 8 months ago). This kind of service is hard to find. I have a Taco D’mand Thermo-regulator system that has become a major issue. Black Mountain Plumbing, and specifically Robert, is helping us to solve this problem. He’s spent a lot of time researching, and also on the phone at my home with various vendors. It’s still in the process, but I hope the outcome is worth his time and mine. And that’s just one of several issues in my home. I am impressed with his efforts and his customer service. Very nice guy and quite knowledgeable in his field. Also, quite by accident, I had my handyman come over for something on the same day as Black Mountain Plumbing. He saw the trucks in my driveway and said “these guys are good.
